La sexta edición de la tradicional Carrera organizada por la Federación de Egresados de la Universidad de Colima (FEUC) se llevará a cabo de manera virtual los días 18, 19 y 20 de diciembre, en recorridos de 3, 5 y 10 kilómetros, abierta a la participación de egresados y sociedad en general, celebrando 35 años de la Federación y 80 años de la Máxima Casa de Estudios.
El Dr. Sergio Wong de la Mora, dirigente de la FEUC, dio a conocer que este año la carrera será totalmente virtual, atendiendo las precauciones por la pandemia del COVID-19.
Pese a lo anterior, se espera la participación de 700 egresados/as de la Universidad de Colima y sus familias, así como la comunidad universitaria y público en general (desde corredores aficionados hasta los de alto rendimiento). El registro es a través de https://carrerafeucudec.com
La dinámica es impulsar la práctica de un deporte, con medidas de sana distancia y cuidado personal, sea en un jardín o en su propio hogar.
El corredor se registra, cumple con sus tiempos y recorrido, y posteriormente envía evidencia al mismo sitio web en que se inscribió, a más tardar el día 20 de diciembre, a las 11:30pm.
Adicionalmente, se les invita a compartir imágenes disfrazados con espíritu navideño o durante la realización de su recorrido, para ser colocadas en las redes sociales de la FEUC.
La gran fiesta deportiva se realiza con apoyo de la Universidad de Colima, a través del Centro de Desarrollo de la Familia Universitaria y la Dirección General de Cultura Física y Deportes, contando por segundo año consecutivo con el patrocinio especial de la empresa SiCar Farms, dirigida por un egresado universitario.
El costo en 3, 5 y 10 k. es de $150 general y niños menores de 12 años $120, con un kit que incluye playera deportiva y medalla.
De igual manera se contará con premios que serán rifados entre todos los inscritos, así como premios especiales a rifarse entre los 10 primeros tiempos de categorías 5 y 10km.
